VISIT FROM THE ZARAGOZA FIRE BRIGADE

Some weeks ago, the Zaragoza Fire Brigade asked to visit Dynatech to learn more about lift systems.

As they explained to us, responding to incidents involving lifts is a fairly common situation among the many they face in their day-to-day work. However, they also acknowledge that their technical knowledge of lift systems is quite limited. Therefore, to help them improve their understanding and respond more effectively to real situations involving lifts, they requested a visit to our plant.

Subsequently, 12 firefighters from the first of the 6 Zaragoza City Council Fire Brigade shifts spent the morning of 21st January with us at Dynatech.

Our R&D team prepared an informative technical session, supported by visual materials and images. After this presentation, they visited our test towers, where we use several real lifts for testing. All the lift components are visible in these facilities, so the visit was especially useful for them. During a real emergency in a lift shaft, firefighters rarely have the chance to see these components clearly or receive explanations while the intervention is underway.

At the end of the visit, the group shared their appreciation and highlighted how useful the session had been in gaining new insights to help them in future operations.

At Dynatech, we would like to congratulate this group of firefighters for their dedication, interest, and proactive approach to improving their professional skills. This kind of collaboration ultimately benefits us all.
