How can I tell if a STAR overspeed governor is right or left?

  If the pulley of the centrifugal system is on the right when looking at the overspeed governor from the front, i.e. from the direction of the centrifugal system, the STAR is right.  

  Bear in mind that if, for example, a right STAR is ordered and the overspeed governor is installed face down, the main pulley will be on the left-hand side.
